Largest Russian bank joined the non-commercial alliance Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA). The bank is the first Russian bank to become a member of the alliance.
EEA was created in February 2017 to search for the possibilities of using blocking technology on the Ethereum platform in the real business. The Alliance unites the largest international companies, such as CME Group, Credit Swiss, DTCC, ING, JPMorgan, Santander, UBS, Accenture, Deloitte, Intel, Microsoft. The alliance also includes successful technology start-ups and research organizations. EEA creates innovative technologies that will provide companies with a new level of data confidentiality, reliability and scalability of operations.
“Joining our bank to the Alliance of Enterprise Ethereum Alliance is an important stage in implementing our bank’s technological agenda, which opens up access to advanced development and international expertise in the field of distributed register technologies,” said Lev Khasis, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.
