Crypto Market Update (6 November 2017)

Yesterday, the Bitcoin price achieved a new all-time high of $7,598 but has been dropping since. Additionally, for the first time since March of this year, the Bitcoin dominance index has surpassed 61%, further solidifying the Bitcoin position as the leading digital currency within the global cryptocurrency market.

At press time, the Bitcoin price is sitting at $7,313 after dropping 1.74% in the last 24 hours with over $950 M worth of BTC exchanged on the BTC/USD pair, representing a 27% share of daily volume, second to the JPY at 60.4%.

Currently sitting at $294.93, the Ethereum price has dropped 1.5% in the last 24 hours, with over $70 M worth of Ethereum exchanged in the past 24 hours on the ETH/USD pair, which has a 25% market share of the daily trading volume.
